| SAICON2008 Concludes
14 November 2008
SAICON2008 successfully concluded at PC Bhurban. A well-received event by all the participants. The closing ceremony was followed by a panel discussion by Dr Zafar, Founder AGBA, Dr Shaista Khilji GWU, USA, Prof. Peter Coyte, Tornoto, Prof. James Foreman and Dr Ahmed Jamal, Cardiff, UK. Awards and souvenirs were distributed byMr Imtinan, COMSATS Headquarters, member HEC Dr Mukhtar and Rector CIIT, Dr Junaid Zaidi.

International Training Seminar

Master Del Pe, Glocen USA & Dr Shaista Khilji GWU, USA delivered an International training seminar on Corporate Leadersip. Particpants from the corporate sector as well as academia attended the seminar.

SAICON 2008. Professor James Foreman Peck from Cardiff University, Mr Ted Marra gave a keynote address at thh opening. |
Expected visit of AGBA Officials to COMSATS
Dr Zafar from King Fahad University and Dr Shaista Khilji from George Washington University, officials of the worldwide academy for global business Advancement are expected to visit COMSATS by the end of August to discuss future plans and see the performance of AGBA South Asia Chapter. |

SAICON-2008 Programme chair visits CIIT
Dr Ahmed Jamal from Cardiff University UK, visited COMSATS Islamabad campus from 31st July 2008 till 02nd August 2008. Dr Jamal is an official of AGBA and the Programme Chair for the upcoming conference being organized by AGBA South Asia in November 2008 in Islamabad Pakistan. During his short visit, Dr Jamal checked and appreciated the performance and work being done by the organizing committee members. |

Pakistan

academics from various parts of the world
Department of Management Sciences, COMSATS Islamabad organised the event at Mariott, Islamabad which was co-sponsored bye
NTS, COMSATS Wah, Abottabad and Lahore campuses. |
